Joana Freitas

Joana Freitas (b.1986) is a Portuguese model.

She lived until the age of 19 in Oporto, where she studied Social Communication, missing her another year to complete the degree.

Her biography says that at age of 12 she began doing fashion shows for fun and that at 14 she was invited by become one of the mannequins of Central Models. She then began to appear in several parades, magazines and agencies. In the same year she started her career as a model, Joana appears in the 16th edition of Moda Lisboa, in Cosmopolitan and at the Super Model of the World (2000) contest, in which she was the Portuguese winner. At 17 she participated in the international competition of the Miss Tourism Planet taking place in Greece, where she won the title of Model of the Planet.

Joana Freitas has appeared in several magazines, some of which include: Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Vogue, N’ Style, Lux, Woman, Essential, FHM and GQ. Joana also left her beauty in various advertising campaigns such as Carlsberg, TV Cabo or Super Bock.
